Subject: Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2024.
The Staff Selection Commission conducted the Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I), 2024
from 09.09.2024 to 26.09.2024 in the Computer Based Mode.
2. Based on marks scored in Tier-I Examination, candidates have been shortlisted, category-wise, to
appear in Tier-II examination. Separate cut-offs have been fixed for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer
(JSO) (List-1), Statistical Investigator Grade-II (SI) (List-2) and all other posts (List-3).
3. As the Tier-I (Computer Based Examination) was conducted in multiple shifts, marks scored by the
candidates have been normalized as per the formula published by the Commission on its website on
07.02.2019. Such normalized marks have been used to qualify candidates for the next stage of Examination
(i.e. Tier-II).
4. As per Para 16.1 of Notice of the Examination, following minimum qualifying marks have been fixed
in Tier 1:-
a. UR: 30%
b. OBC/ EWS: 25%
c. All other categories: 20%

5. Category-wise cut-off marks and the number of candidates shortlisted for Tier-II Examination are as
follows:

8. The Tier-II of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 is tentatively scheduled from 18.01.2025
to 20.01.2025. Shortlisted candidates may visit the website of the Commission regularly for further updates.

9. Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys of Tier-I Examination
have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever necessary. The final Answer
Keys have been used for evaluation. The Final Answer Keys along with the Question Paper(s) and marks of
the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be hosted on the website of the Commission shortly.

Subject: Declaration of Additional Result of Tier-I of Combined Graduate Level Examination,
2024 - shortlisting additional candidates for appearing in Tier-II – regarding.

Staff Selection Commission declared the result of Tier-I of Combined Graduate Level
Examination (CGLE), 2024 on 05.12.2024.
2. In List-1 (for the post of Junior Statistical Officer) of result of Tier-I of the said examination, a
total of 18,436 candidates were shortlisted and in List-2 (for the post of Statistical Investigator Gr. II) a
total of 2833 candidates were shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II [Paper-I and Paper-II (Statistics)]. In
List-3 a total of 1,65,240 candidates were shortlisted for appearing in Tier-II (Paper-I) (for all other
posts).
3. In compliance of Order dated 16.01.2025 in OA No. 474/2025 and Order dated 17.01.2025 in
OA No. 239/2025 passed by Ld. CAT, Principal Bench, New Delhi, a total of 25+500=525 candidates
of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2024 have been allowed to appear provisionally subject to
outcome of the above mentioned OAs, in Tier-II of examination to be conducted on 20th January, 2025.
4. Consequent to above court cases, the result of Tier-I of CGLE, 2024 has been revisited by the
Commission. Revised category-wise cut-off marks in List-3 and additionally shortlisted candidates for
Tier-II examination are as follows:

5. Accordingly, 609 additional candidates who have met the above cut-off have been shortlisted
to appear in Tier-II of the said examination on 20.01.2025.
6. The above candidates may download their Admission Certificate of Tier-II of the examination
from 18.01.2025 (07:00 PM) onwards.

8. The candidates may also refer Important Notice dated 17.01.2025 uploaded on the website of
the Commission, in this regard.
9. Other contents of the result write-up dated 05.12.2024 of Tier-I of CGLE, 2024 remain
unchanged.
