MINISTRY OF EDUCATION · NIRF INDIA RANKINGS 2025 Top MBA and Management Colleges in Punjab 5 colleges from Punjab placed in India's top 100 for MBA and Management, plus 1 more in the published rank-bands. IN INDIA'S TOP 100 IN RANK-BANDS 101–300 BEST RANK IN PUNJAB HIGHEST SCORE 5 1 #32 59.40 Ranked colleges These are the only colleges from Punjab that NIRF placed inside the national top 100 for Management in 2025. The change column compares each against its own 2024 rank. Rank College City Score vs 2024 32 Chandigarh University Mohali 59.40 ▲ 4 (was 36) 44 Lovely Professional University Phagwara 55.00 ▼ 6 (was 38) Thapar Institute of Engineering and 46 Technology (Deemed-to-be-university) Patiala 54.40 ▼ 2 (was 44) 64 Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar Amritsar 51.70 ▼ 17 (was 47) 78 Chitkara University Rajpura 48.30 ▼ 24 (was 54) Why these colleges rank where they do A NIRF score is the weighted sum of five parameters, each marked out of 100. Two colleges with similar totals can be very different places to study, so it is worth reading across the row rather than only looking at the rank. TLR RPC GO OI PERCEPTION College 30% 30% 20% 10% 10% Chandigarh University 73.83 44.02 74.27 78.10 13.89 Lovely Professional University 74.77 41.41 53.33 73.42 21.40 Thapar Institute of Engineering and 67.95 40.64 69.78 70.62 8.14 Technology (Deemed-to-be-university) Indian Institute of Management, Amritsar 63.89 18.35 87.93 70.30 24.01 Chitkara University 51.90 42.15 61.98 72.50 4.27 TLR Teaching, Learning & Resources RPC Research and Professional Practice GO Graduation Outcomes OI Outreach and Inclusivity PERCEPTION Perception Green marks a score of 70 or above; red marks below 35. Perception is scored from a survey of academics, employers and the public, so newer and regional institutions often score low there even when their teaching and outcomes are strong — read a low Perception number with that in mind rather than as a verdict on the campus. Colleges in the published rank-bands Beyond the top 100, NIRF stops assigning individual ranks and publishes institutions alphabetically inside a band. A college listed at 101–150 is not ranked 101; it is somewhere in that range, and NIRF does not say where. No scores are released for these. Source: NIRF · Visit for all rankings Page 1 of 2

aglasem Top MBA and Management Colleges in Punjab · NIRF 2025 Rank-band 101-125 1 colleges from Punjab Chandigarh Business School of Administration, Landran Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Present in 2024, absent in 2025 These Punjab institutions appeared in the NIRF Management list in 2024 but not in 2025. That usually means the institution did not participate this cycle rather than that standards fell — participation is voluntary. A few may also have been renamed. College City 2024 position Sahibzada Ajit Singh Chandigarh School of Business, Jhanjeri Nagar 101-125 How to use this list • Entrance exams. CAT is required for the IIMs and most top institutes. XAT, NMAT, SNAP, CMAT and MAT are accepted elsewhere, and several states run their own MBA entrance tests. • A rank is not a ranking of your experience. NIRF measures the institution as a whole, not the individual specialisation, such as finance or marketing. An institution ranked lower overall may still be the stronger choice for the one you want. • Participation is voluntary. A good college missing from this list may simply not have submitted data. Absence is not evidence of poor quality. • Bands hide detail. Inside 101–150 or 201–300 the colleges are listed alphabetically, so position in that list carries no meaning at all. • Check the year. These are the India Rankings 2025 figures, released September 2025. The 2026 edition is expected later in 2026 and will supersede them. Compiled from NIRF India Rankings 2025, including the alphabetical rank-band listings, with year-on-year movement calculated against NIRF 2024. Figures are reproduced as published.
