Subject: Declaration of Final Result of Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025
(CGLE) – regarding.

Commission declared First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for candidates of
CGLE 2025 vide result write-up no. HQ-C11018/5/2025-C-1 dated 08.04.2026. Thereafter,
candidates were required to participate mandatorily in the Sliding/Identity Verification (IV)
process through designated login module on the website of the Commission conducted from
13th to 22nd April, 2026 (Northern Region) and from 13th to 18th April, 2026 (all the other
Regional Offices).

2. As per Para 16 of FRTA write up dated 08.04.2026, any candidate who failed to
attend the sliding process physically has been treated as absent and not considered for the
final result.

3. The category wise breakup of vacancies (as also declared in FRTA) is as under:

4. Details of number of candidates who have opted Fix/Float and new allocations made
against the vacancies created due to absence of candidates in Sliding/Identity Verification
process:

5. As per the provisions of the Notice of Examination, allocation of posts to eligible
candidates has been made on the basis of merit-cum-preference of posts submitted by the
candidates online and FIX/FLOAT option exercised by candidates in Sliding/Identity
Verification process. A total of 15,118 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted in the

6. Post-wise and category-wise break-up of candidates provisionally shortlisted for
different posts against the vacancies reported by the User departments and cut-off details of
the last selected candidates against each post is given below. In cases where candidates are
shortlisted against horizontal categories (i.e. 3-ESM, 4-OH, 5-HH, 7-VH and 8-PwD-Others),
marks and Date of Birth of such last selected candidates are reflected against their respective
horizontal category in the Table(s) below and not against their vertical category (i.e. 0-EWS,
1- SC, 2-ST, 6-OBC and 9-UR). In addition to this, vacancies of horizontal categories are
also counted in their respective vertical categories.

8. Resolution of Tie Cases: In the event of tie in scores of candidates in Tier-II Examination,
tie has been resolved by applying following criteria, one after another in the given order, till
the tie is resolved:

a) Marks scored in Paper-II of Tier-II Examination for the posts of Junior Statistical Officer
(JSO)/Statistical Investigator Grade-II respectively, if applicable.
b) Marks scored in Section-I of Paper-I of Tier-II Examination.
c) Date of birth, with older candidate placed higher.
d) Alphabetical order in which the names of the candidates appear.

9. In compliance of Order dated 23.02.2026 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in SLP
(C) No. 7246/2026, any allocation/appointments made which are the subject matter of the lis

under consideration of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in WP (C) No. 1733/2026 titled as
Pramod Kumar Rai and Ors. Vs. Union of India and Ors, shall be subject to the final outcome
of the said Writ Petition.

10. Result of 106 candidates has been kept withheld due to various reasons as per List-3.

11. Fresh ranks have been allotted to candidates included in the final result of CGLE-
2025. These shall supersede the ranks allocated in FRTA. However, other details mentioned
in the result write up no. HQ-C11018/5/2025-C-1 dated 08.04.2026 shall remain applicable to
the extent they are not contradictory to the details mentioned in this result write up.

12. Post declaration of the final result of the Examination, further process of Document
Verification and appointment formalities will be undertaken by the Allocated Department to
the shortlisted candidates. If a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the
concerned allocated User Department within a period of six months from declaration of the
final result, he/she must communicate immediately thereafter with the concerned User
Department. Further, the Commission will not, in any circumstances, entertain any
correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities from the
shortlisted candidates.

13. No Reserve List/ Waiting List is prepared by the Commission. Unfilled vacancies in
the final result and vacancies arising out of non-joining of shortlisted candidates will be
carried forward to the subsequent year(s) by the concerned Departments/ Organisations.

14. Dossiers of the qualified candidates would be compiled electronically by the
Commission and will be made available for downloading through e-dossier module on the
Commission’s website, by the Nodal Officers nominated by the User Departments at the time
of vacancy collection of the examination. Dossiers received through any other mode should
not be accepted by the user department.

15. User Department(s) are advised to satisfy themselves regarding the eligibility in
respect of disability of the PwD candidates.

16. Final Answer Keys and detailed marks of the selected/ non-selected candidates will be
uploaded on the website of the Commission in due course.
