Subject – Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSLE), 2025- Declaration
of result of Tier-I to shortlist candidates for appearing in Tier-II.

Staff Selection Commission conducted Tier-I of the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2)
Level Examination (CHSLE), 2025 from 12.11.2025 to 30.11.2025 in the Computer Based Mode.

2. Since the Tier-I of Computer Based Examination was conducted in multiple shifts, the marks
scored by the candidates have been normalized in accordance with formulae/methodology published by
the Commission (through the Write-up F. No. HQ-PP001/6/2024-PP dated 02.06.2025) on its website.
Such normalized marks have been used to qualify the candidates for the next stage of Examination[i.e.
CHSLE(Tier-II)].

3. As per the Para 17.1 of the Notice of the examination, minimum qualifying marks in Tier-
I of the Examination are as follows:

(i) UR : 30%
(ii) OBC/ EWS : 25%
(iii) All other categories : 20%

4. As per Para 17.3 of the Notice of Examination, separate category-wise cut-offs have been
fixed in Tier-I for different posts i.e. (i) DEO/ DEO Grade 'A' in Department/Ministry mentioned at Para
8.1, (ii) DEO/ DEO Grade 'A' except in Department/Ministry mentioned at Para 8.1, and (iii) LDC/
JSA/Clerk-Cum-Typist.

5. The Category wise cut-off marks and the number of candidates short- listed for
appearing in Tier-II Examination are as follows:

7. The result of the following mentioned 10 candidates is withheld due to various reasons
(including pending Litigations/Court cases etc). However, these candidates are provisionally allowed to
appear in Tier-II of the Examination.

8. The Schedule for conduct of Tier-II of the examination will be made available on the website
of the Commission shortly. Shortlisted candidates may visit the website of the Commission regularly
for updates.

9. Representations received from the candidates with regard to the Answer Keys of Tier-I
Examination have been carefully examined and the Answer Keys have been modified wherever
necessary. Final answer keys have been used for evaluation. Marks and Final Answer Keys of the
qualified and non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the website of the Commission in due
course.
