STATE LEVEL FORMATIVE ASSESSMENT 2019-20 FA 1 Class: 3 Subject: English Paper Code: 3021 Maximum Marks: 10 Instructions: Each activity carries 05 marks. Teacher can choose one activity from each group. Section – A (5 Marks) LO: LE-307 (The learner writes/types dictation of words/phrases/sentences.) Activity 1: Dictation of words Teacher will dictate any five words to the students. (शिक्षक छात्रों को ककन्ही पााँच िब्दों का श्रुतलेखन करवायेंगे ।) Examples : Sunday, tailor, horse, doctor, teacher, nurse, Monday, morning, bright, Friday, October (Teacher may choose any five letters out of these for dictation) Activity 2: Dictation of small sentences Teacher will dictate five small sentences to the students . (शिक्षक छात्रों को पााँच छोटे वाक्‍यों का श्रुतलेखन करवायेंगे।) Examples (उदाहरण) (1) Hello, friends. (2) Good morning, Sir. (3) Thank you. (4) You are welcome. (5) Good bye. Teacher will dictate five small sentences to the students . (शिक्षक छात्रों को पााँच छोटे वाक्‍यों का श्रुतलेखन करवायेंगे।) Examples (उदाहरण) (1) She is Sita. (2) I am a girl. (3) This is my doll. (4) You are a boy. (5) That is a bat. Section – B (5 Marks) LO: LE- 303 (Reads aloud with appropriate pronunciation and pause.) Activity 1: Reading aloud some lines Teacher will ask the students to read aloud the given lines with appropriate pronunciation. (शिक्षक छात्रों को कदए हुए वाक्‍यों को सही उच्चारक के साज जोर से पनेने के शलए कहेंगे ।) Hello! I am Sunil. I am a boy. This is my school. Mahesh is my friend. Activity 2: Reading aloud a paragraph Teacher will ask the students to read aloud the given paragraph with appropriate pronunciation and pause. (शिक्षक छात्रों को कदए हुए अनुच्छेद को सही उच्चारक एवं ठहराव के साज जोर से पनेने के शलए कहेंगे ।) This is Mr. Sinha. He is a doctor. His father is a shopkeeper. That is his house. He has a car. Activity 3: Reading aloud a paragraph Teacher will ask the students to read aloud the given paragraph with appropriate pronunciation and pause.
