SCHEME OF STUDIES FOR CLASS V (PRIMARY)

Each candidate shall have to appear in total five subjects.
It is mandatory/compulsory to pass in all the subjects.

1. First language (Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu)
2. Second language (Punjabi/Hindi/Urdu)
3. English
4. Mathematics
5. Environment Education
6. Health and Phy. Education (Activity based/Practical)
Note:-
 Health and Physical Education is a practical
based subject, for which examination and
Evaluation will be done at school level. Marks
obtained in this subject will not be shown on
DMC issued by the Board. School will maintain
the record of marks obtained in this subject.
(ਨਟ:- ਿਸਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੀਿਰਕ ਿਸੱ ਿਖਆ ਇੱਕ ਪਯੋਗੀ ਿਵਸ਼ਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ

Important Note:- It is mandatory to get minimum 33% marks in theory and CCE in aggregate to
pass the examination with minimum 20% marks in theory. No minimum marks
are required in CCE.
