Section–A

Read the following passage and answer the questions set below it :

In the unique town of Austin, the annual Starlight Musical Concert, became

a canvas of twinkling stars. Golda, with a passion for music, dreamt of playing

her violin. Her shyness held her back, as she feared performing in front of

a crowd. One day, Golda discovered an old book in the attic that spoke of

a magical violin hidden deep within the woods, that granted courage to overcome

any fear.

Reading the book, her fear began to transform into determination. With the

magical violin, Golda returned to Austin, just in time for the concert. As she

stood on the stage, surrounded by thousands of stars, she felt the violin resonate

within her soul. As her final note faded into the night, a shower of shooting
stars streaked across the sky, illuminating her triumph. Golda, had not only

found the magic within the violin but also the magic within herself. The town

burst out in applause, and Golda realized that the true essence of music was

not in perfection, but in the emotions it evoked.

From that day on, Golda continued to play her violin, sharing her melodies

without hesitation. Every year, the concert’s magic seemed to grow stronger,

reminding all that the most beautiful notes are the ones played from the heart.

nutrition-oriented food items like millets are gaining popularity. Millets are

a group of small-seeded grains. These crops variety like sorghum, ragi, bajra,

of their nutritional content. They are rich in vitamins, minerals and are gluten-

free. Millets grow in sandy and loamy soils.

They are versatile, nourishing and eco-friendly. Millets, play a crucial role

in sustainable agriculture. These hardy crops require adequate sunlight,

moderate temperature and less rainfall. Cultivating millets can enhance soil

fertility and biodiversity.

Millets grow well in regions of Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat and

Karnataka. Nowadays people are health conscious and include millets into

their diet for a healthy lifestyle. The importance of millets is made known

both at school and community level. Programmes, exhibitions and lectures

on the uses of millets and its importance in everyday life is being highlighted.
