How to use this list
• Entrance exams. AP EAPCET (formerly EAMCET) governs the Andhra Pradesh state quota. JEE Main is used for
NIT, IIIT and GFTI seats, and JEE Advanced for the IITs.

• A rank is not a ranking of your experience. NIRF measures the institution as a whole, not the individual branch,
such as CSE or ECE. An institution ranked lower overall may still be the stronger choice for the one you want.

• Participation is voluntary. A good college missing from this list may simply not have submitted data. Absence is
not evidence of poor quality.

• Bands hide detail. Inside 101–150 or 201–300 the colleges are listed alphabetically, so position in that list carries
no meaning at all.

• Check the year. These are the India Rankings 2025 figures, released September 2025. The 2026 edition is
expected later in 2026 and will supersede them.
