5 िंबाई एवं गतत का मापन
दीपा एक जिज् सु बा िका है। वह 11 वर्ष की है और हर याणा प ांत
के एक नगर में रहती है। द् य का नया स्ቔ आरभ हो चक ु ा है।
दीपा को द् य के िए नई व दी चा ए क ों उसका कद बढ़
गया है। उसकी माँ उसे एक कपड की दकु ान पर े ाती हैं। वह दो
मीटर कपड का टुकड माँगती हैं। दकु ानदार एक धातु की मापक
छ से उस कप े को मापता है।
उसके बाद द ची े मापन-फीते से दीपा की व दी का
माप ेता है। उसकी माँ द से कहती हैं व दी की बाई चार
अँगु (चार अँगु ी की चौ ाई के बराबर) अ क रखे।
क फीता और छ उस पैमाने
के समान हैं ो मेरी बड बहन के
ज बॉक में है? चार अँगु से
माँ का क तात है?
दीपा अपने अनभु व द् य के अनीश, हरदीप, पदमा
् एव तस म के साथ
