Quantum computing is an emerging technology that works using the principles of quantum
mechanics. Traditional computers process information in the forms of bits – either 0 or 1. But
quantum computers use qubits, which can represent both 0 and 1 at the same time due to wave-
particle duality. This unique capability allows quantum computers to solve complex problems much
faster than traditional ones.
Companies like IBM are leading in the development of quantum computers. Businesses can benefit
from this technology by using it to analyze large data, make better decisions, reduce costs, and gain
an advantage over competitors. As mentioned by McKinsey, IBM, and Simplilearn, quantum
computing helps solve problems quickly that are difficult or impossible for classical computers.
