Q1. Read the passage and answer the following questions.
Aunt Polly heard about a new medicine. It was called a painkiller. It had the taste of fire. All the same,
Aunt Polly made Tom drink it. When his aunt was not looking, he quickly poured the medicine into a hole in
the floor. Tom was busy doing this one day, a cat came in and Tom poured some of the medicine into its
mouth. At once it jumped high into the air. It started dancing on its back legs. It rushed around the room,
breaking anything in its path. Tom laughed and laughed. Aunt Polly heard the noise and came rushing in.
"What's the matter?" said Aunt Polly.

Rosy went to the park outside her house.In the park, she saw a pretty butterfly. The butterfly was green
and yellow in colour. It was sitting on a white petal. Soon she saw that there were four more butterflies .One
other butterfly was black and white. When she went to touch this butterfly, it flew away. This made Rosy
jump a little. The butterfly went and sat under a tree. Rosy ran down to the tree, but by then it was gone .She
tried to follow it, but couldn't find it again. Rosy soon left for home. When she reached her house, she was
surprised to see the butterfly sitting by her window. This got a smile on her face.
Answer the following questions.
