Read the passage carefully and answer the questions given
in the end of the passage.
Change in society are both planned and unplanned, direction
and speed of social change depends on what type of change is
it- planned or unplanned change. By planned change it refers to
a change that is brought about in a deliberate and planned
manner. Such change plans, social reformes are brought about
by inventions etc. Five year plans and economic budget are
only effects for bringing planned changes in our country. The
problem and crises of the society can be releived only by planned
changes.
Unplanned changes is a change in itself. There is usually no
prior knowledge of such transformations. Change is caused by
natural calamities like floods, famines,earthquakes and
epidemics. Due to this change human being has to change his
behaviour rapidily required for adaptation. The earthquake that
occurred in Jan 26, 2001 in Bhuj district of Gujrat state is well
known. In which thousands of people, worth crores of rupees
destroyed.
