With an objective to enable the students to acquire a reasonable degree of language
proficiency in Manipuri, the framework for the assessment of teacher and learner

achievement has been prepared. The course will aim, mainly at promoting the high-order

language skills. By the time the students completed the high school level, i.e. Class X, they

are expected to achieve the skills for text-based writing, able to write formal/informal letters
and applications for different purposes, grammatical rules of Manipuri language, etc.

The main learning objectives in this stage are:
