(d) Convert 29056 m into km and m.
(e) In a rectangle, length is two times its breadth. If its breadth is 18 cm, find its
perimeter.
(f) Divide and check your answer: 6287 ÷ 12
OR
The product of two numbers is 5301. If one number is 93, find the other number.

(4) Answer the following questions. ( 5 x 3 = 15)
(a) Write down the greatest number of 5- digits and smallest number of 6-digits.
Also find the difference between the two numbers.
(b) Draw an angle XYZ of measure 750. Name its vertex and arms.
(c) One dozen banana costs Rs. 78. Find the cost of 650 dozen bananas.

(d) Ram, Shyam and Krishna are good friends. Among them, Shyam is very poor. He
was not able to buy books and uniforms for his new class. Ram and Krishna
wanted to help Shyam. They spoke to their parents and gave Rs. 2150 and Rs.
1500 to Shayam. It helped Shyam to buy books and uniform.
(i) How much money did Ram and Krishna give to Shyam?
(ii) How do you feel when you help others?
(e) 42 books can fit on one shelf of an almirah. Find the number of shelves required to
keep 4158 books.

(5) Answer the following questions. ( 2 x 4 = 8)
(a) Neha has a rectangular farmhouse of length 65 m and breadth 40 m. She wants to
fence her farmhouse with barbed wire. If the rate of fencing is Rs.15 per metre,
then find the total cost of fencing.
(b) An ant climbed 8 m 50 cm on a wall, then it came down 4m 75 cm along the same
wall. How far is the ant from the starting point? Convert your answer into
centimetres.
OR
A tall tower is painted in red, white and black colour. 15 m 50 cm is painted with
black colour, 15 m 75 cm is painted with red colour and 20 m 25 cm is painted
with white colour. Find the height of the tower in centimetres.
