12 हरे और कोमल तनों वाले पौधे आमतौर पर घास के मैदान म दे खे जाते ह। वे आमतौर पर 6
छोटे होते ह और उनकी अनेक शाखाएँ नही ं हो होती ह। कुछ पौधों म तने के आधार के पास
से ही शाखाएँ िवकिसत होती ह। इनका तना स लेिकन ब त मोटा नही ं होता।वही ँ कुछ
पौधे ब त ल े, कठोर और मोटे तने वाले होते हI इनम शाखाएँ तने के ऊपरी भाग म, ज़मीन
से ब त ऊपर होती ह। ऐसे पौधों को वृ कहा जाता है ।
Plants with green and tender stems are commonly seen in the grass field.
They are usually short and may not have many branches .Some plants
develop branches near the base of stem. The stem is hard but not very thick.
Some plants are very tall and have hard and thick stem. The stems have
branches in the upper part, much above the ground. Such plants are called
trees.

contain some components that are needed by our body. These components
are called nutrients. In addition, food contains dietary fibres and water which
are also needed by our body.
