SENIOR SECONDARY EXAMINATION, 2024

Time : 3¼ Hours

Maximum Marks : 40

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO THE EXAMINEES :
1) Candidates must write first his/her Roll No. on the question paper compulsorily.
2) The shorthand outlines may be written by pencil but the transcription should
not be hand-written but it should be typed.
3) The shorthand note-book must be attached with the answer-book.
4) Only the following punctuations should be dictated :
i) full stops
ii) signs of interrogation
iii) brackets
5) There should be an interval of five minutes after the dictation of each section.
Two and a three-fourth hours will be allowed for transcription of the three
sections of dictation (i.e. excluding the time for dictation and intervals).
6) All the three sections should be dictated at a speed of 80 (Eighty) words
per minute and in one sitting.

(1) In continuation to the Punjab Civil Services (Revised Pay) First
Amendment Rules 2021 as adopted and //notified by the Chandigarh [1]

I/am directed to enclose herewith the copies of Govt. of Punjab, Deptt. [1½]
of Finance (Finance Personnel-1/Branch) letter bearing and subsequent [1¾]
letter bearing the subject cited above.

(2) By Virture of notification of Govt. of//India, MHA dated 13.1.92, the [2]
Chandigarh administration has decided to adopt the aforesaid Govt./ [2¼]
of Punjab, Department of Finance (Finance Personnel -1 Branch and
subsequent letter in respect of employees of / Chandigarh Administration [2½]
on the same terms and conditions as mentioned therein.

(3) Further, it has been decided to/extend the period of option for revised [2¾]
pay structure in respect of those employees of UT. Chandigarh
Administration who have//been promoted between 1.1.16 to 20.9.21. [3]
Such employees can opt the/revised pay structure from the date of [3¼]
their promotion within a period of one month from the issue of this/ [3½]
communication.

ORDER UNDER RULE 2 OF TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF
TELECOM SERVICES

(Public Emergency or Public safety) Rules, 2017

(1) /Whereas, it has been brought to my notice vide Nos. 1860/HITAC,CID [¼]
dated 6.9/.21 by ADGP/CID, Haryana and 2016 8/M.A. dated 15.9.21 [½]
by/District Magistrate, Karnal, that there is chance of intensification of [¾]
protest which may adversely affect the public safety// and law & order [1]
situation in district Karnal in wake of call for Kisan Mahapanchayat on
7.9./21 in Karnal. [1¼]

(2) And whereas, there is a clear potential of disraption of public utilities
& safety/, damage to public assets & amenities and law and order in [1½]
adjoining districts of Karnal i.e. Kurukshetra,/ Kaithal, Jind & Panipat [1¾]
on account of misuse of internet service by way of spread of
inflammatory material and // false rumours, which are being/ could be [2]
transmitted / circulated to the public through social media/ messaging/ [2¼]
services on mobile internet services, SMS services and other dongle
services.

(3) In order to stop the spread/of Misinformation and rumours through [2½]
various social media platforms, such as WhatsApp, Facebook Twitter,
etc. on mobile/ phones and SMS, for facilitation and mobilisation of [2¾]
mobs of agitators and demonstrators who can cause serious loss of // [3]
life and damage to public and private properties by indulging in arson
or vandalism and other types of violent activities/. [3¼]

(4) Now, therefore, in exercise of power conferred upon me by virture of
Rule 2 of Temporary/ Suspension of Telecom Service (Public Emergency [3½]
or Public Safety) Rules, 2017 I, secretary Home, Haryana do/hereby [3¾]
order for the suspension of the mobile internet service (2G/3G/4G/
CDMA/GPRs)//, all SMS services including bulk SMS (excluding [4]
banking & mobile recharge) and all dongle services etc. provided on/ [4¼]
mobile network except the voice calls in district Kurukshetra, Kaithal,
Jind & Panipat w.e.f. 00/:00 hrs dated 7.9.21 to 23:59 hrs. dated [4½]
7.9.21/. All telecom service providers of Hariyana are hereby directed [4¾]
to ensure the compliance of this order.

(5) This // order is issued to prevent any disturbance of peace and public [5]
order in the Jurisdiction of district Kurukshetra, Kaithal/, Jind & Panipath [5¼]
w.e.f.00.00 hrs dated 7.9.21 to 23:/59 hrs dated 7.9.21. This order is [5½]
being passed ex-parte in view of/the emergent situation as explained in [5¾]
earlier paragraphs. Any person found gullty of violation of aforesaid
order will be // liable for legal action under relevant provisions of law. [6]
This order issuing by the Govt. Of Haryana, Department/ of Home [6¼]
Affairs-A.D.G.P./C.I.D:/ Haryana to convey and get this order [6½]
implemented immediately through all mobile service providers (Public
