POLYCET - 2025 5. POLYCET-2025 Examination Related Information: 5.1 Examination Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes) 5.2 POLYCET Question Paper: Aspect Details 1. Exam Duration - The examination is of 2 hours duration( 120 Minutes) - The syllabus covers Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from the X Class (S.S.C.) Examination, March-2025, as 2. Syllabus prescribed by the State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. - Total Questions: 120 multiple-choice questions. - Sections and Marks Distribution: 3. Question Paper Format (i) Mathematics: 50 questions for 50 marks. (ii) Physics: 40 questions for 40 marks. (iii) Chemistry: 30 questions for 30 marks. - Candidates must not bring the following items into the Examination Hall: (i) Logarithmic tables. (ii) Calculators. 4. Prohibited (iii) Pagers. Items (iv) Cell phones. (v) Any other supporting electronic gadgets. Note: Possession of such items will result in removal from the Examination Hall and possible cancellation of the candidate's performance. - Candidates will receive an Optical Mark Reader (OMR) 5. OMR Response Response Sheet for marking answers. Sheet - Mark answers and relevant data using a 2B pencil only. - Avoid using ball pens for marking answers. - Do not fold, wrinkle, or tear the OMR response sheet. 6. Handling - Do not scribble or make unnecessary marks on the sheet, Instructions for except in designated areas. OMR Sheet - Any violation will lead to disqualification. 7. Replacement - Candidates will not be issued a second blank OMR sheet Policy under any circumstances. Handle the sheet with care. - Read the instruction sheet carefully before answering 8. Instructions for questions. Marking Answers - Shade the appropriate circle darkly for the correct answer using a 2B pencil. - Indicate the Hall Ticket Number on the OMR sheet by 9. POLYCET - 2025 - Answer all questions. 10. Answering - All questions carry equal marks. Questions - No negative marking for incorrect answers. - Candidates must remain seated in their designated places until the exam is completed. 11. Post-Exam Procedures - Before leaving, return the OMR response sheet/answer sheet to the invigilator. - Candidates may take the question paper booklet. 5.2.1 POLYCET-2025 Syllabus: The syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry for POLYCET-2025 is as per the syllabus prescribed for SSC Examination of March-2025 conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh. 5.2.2 Structure of the question paper: The POLYCET Question Paper for admission into Polytechnics is structured as follows: Mathematics 50 Marks Physics 40 Marks Chemistry. 30 Marks Features of POLYCET-2025 Feature Details - All questions are multiple-choice type (MCQs). - Each question includes: Question Type • A stem (question statement). • Four options numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. • One correct answer and three distractors (incorrect options). - The stem (question statement) is presented in both Telugu and English. Language Options - Distractors (incorrect options) are also provided in both languages, where applicable. - Correct answers must be marked by shading or darkening the Answering appropriate circle/oval on the OMR Response Sheet. Method - Accuracy is crucial as no replacement will be provided for the OMR sheet. Sample - Sample questions for all subjects are included in the brochure to help Questions candidates understand the question pattern and format. 18
