Guidelines for Teachers
1. The questions on each chapter are designed based on specific learning outcomes.
Teachers should clearly understand the learning outcomes.
2. The questions are designed to develop students' critical thinking and application skills,
rather than just memorization, and teachers should use them according to the needs of
their classroom.
3. All parts of Social Science i.e. History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology,
Economics and Business Studies should be given equal priority based on learning
outcomes.
4. More practice should be given to map recognition, diagram and time-based questions
of Geography and History.
5. This question bank should be used continuously in the classroom process, including
annual examinations, LBA based assessment, formative assessment, summative
assessment, CCE activities etc.
6. Categorise and provide Easy, Average and Difficult level questions according to the
different learning abilities of the students in the class.
7. Make provision for group discussion and peer assessment by selecting questions from
the question bank to enhance the thinking ability of the students.
8. Identify the learning outcomes that the students are lagging behind in achieving after
the exams and conduct appropriate planned, structural remedial teaching.
9. Select high order thinking [HOT’s] questions from the question bank while giving
daily homework and assigned tasks.
10. Model the correct method of writing main points for difficult questions in the class
using key answers.
11. Use the question bank, smart class, and supplementary digital resources to achieve the
learning outcomes applicable to the skill.
