This is a traditional folk music dance. It is performed by the Gurung and Magar communities.
It is known for its unique costumes, musical instruments, and rhythm. This dance is
presented in a spirit of harmony and joy. This dance form is usually performed during
festivals and fairs, where young boys and girls of the Gurung community come together to
entertain themselves as well as others. In this dance, the girls invite the boys to join them by
offering betel nuts, and the boys typically respond through singing. The girls dance to the
rhythm of the "Khaijari,"
