India is a land of different cultures where people speak different
languages, celebrates various festivals and follow unique traditions.
Yet all Indian shares a common cultural heritage, belonging to one
country- India. Indians come together to celebrate national festivals
like Independence Day and Republic Day.
In schools, students from different backgrounds not only study
together but share food, share their stories, and learn from each
other’s experience. For instance, in your school, your best friend
Sakshi celebrate Diwali with family members and you(Rupa) celebrate
Shad Suk Mynsiem along with your family. Although Sakshi and you
celebrate different festivals, yet both of you share a sense of patriotism
and respect each other’s traditions and practices.
