1. Salient features of APR Degree College (Boys only):

a) The APR Institutions are under the purview of School Education Department,
Government of Andhra Pradesh.

b) The APR Degree College, Nagarjuna Sagar, is affiliated to Acharya
Nagarjuna University, A.P. and providing quality education in Residential
mode only. The APR Degree College is the only degree college in the
government sector to get NIRF rant of 201 – 300 band in the state.

c) Individual attention is being paid on each student.

d) The APR Degree College has good infrastructure facilities in addition to well-
equipped Laboratories, Library, Reading Rooms and Playground with well-
equipped Physical Education Department.

e) Apart from the academic activities, importance is given to sports and games
and other co-curricular activities for the all-round development of the
students.

f) Loco-Parent system is implemented by appointing one Lecturer as loco-
parent to a group of 15 to 20 students for taking personal care of each student.

g) Digital Classes will also be provided whenever necessary.

h) Day starts with the physical exercises and Classes commence at 8.00 AM and
academic and co-curricular activities continue till 10.00 PM in the night.

i) Special care is being taken for talented and low achievers.

4. Percentage of Reservation of seats:

a) OC : 35%, BC - A : 7%, BC - B : 10%, BC - C : 1%, BC - D : 7%, BC - E : 4%,
SC Group-I: 1%, SC Group-II: 6.5%, SC Group-III: 7.5% and ST: 6%.
b) Special category Reservation: PHC:3%, Sports:3% CAP (Children of Armed
Personnel):3%, Orphan:3% and NCC:3%.
c) EWS- 10%.
Note-1: The reservations for allotting the seats is based on the Government
orders issued from time to time
Note-2: The EWS reservations shall be applied at the time of admissions as
per the Govt orders issued in this regard. In case, the reservations are not
applied, the candidates, who applied under EWS, shall be considered under
OC category.

5. Eligibility:

a) Candidate must be a resident of India and must have studied in the state of
Andhra Pradesh only.

b) All candidates who have studied and qualified in Intermediate or equivalent
qualifying examination during the academic year 2025-26 are only eligible
for admission.

c) The candidates who have passed Intermediate or equivalent qualifying
examination in compartmental are not eligible to apply.

d) For B.A. - Students of all groups in Intermediate are eligible irrespective of
subjects studied.

e) For B.Com. (Computer Applications) and B.Com. (Tax Procedures & Practice) -
Students of all groups except HEC in Intermediate are eligible.

f) For B.Sc. (Chemistry) - Only Students of MPC Group in intermediate are eligible.

g) For B.Sc. (Computer Science) and B.Sc. (Date Science) – The students of both MPC
and MEC groups in intermediate are eligible.

h) For B.Sc. (Zoology) - Only Students of BPC Group in intermediate are eligible

6. Guidelines for Application:

a) The candidates have to visit the website https://aprs.apcfss.in to fill the
online application.
b) The candidate shall read the Prospectus carefully and satisfy himself about
the eligibility criteria for admission.
c) The candidate after satisfying himself about the eligibility criteria shall pay
a fee of Rs.300/- through online by clicking/opening the link Payment during
the specified period.
d) During the payment of fee online, the candidate has to give the required
preliminary data i.e., Name of the candidate, Date of Birth, Aadhar Number
and Mobile Number.
e) One Mobile Number can be used for one application only. The given
mobile number will be verified through OTP.

f) After payment of fee online, a Candidate ID shall be issued. Issue of
Candidate ID does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of
application online. It is only a confirmation for the fee paid.
g) The Candidate should be ready with a photograph and signature of size 3.5 X
4.5 cms before filling the online application. The Photo & signature should be
scanned together and be uploaded along with the application form.
h) To Submit online application, click on the link Application and login with
Candidate ID and Date of Birth. The online application will be opened.
i) While filling the online application, select the Course carefully. Once a
Course is opted, it cannot be changed.
j) If the candidate has wrongly entered his caste / category in the application
and is selected in another category of reservation, admission will not be
given and caste / category will not be changed.
k) While submitting the online application, there is no need to submit any of
the certificates. But the selected Candidate should be able to produce the
original certificates at the time of admission as per the information
furnished in the application.
l) In case of special category such as PHC/CAP/NCC/ORPHAN/SPORTS the
candidates have to upload the relevant certificate issued by the authorities
concern. If wrong/false certificate uploaded then the selection will be
summarily rejected.
m) Fill the details carefully without any errors. For any mistakes/incorrect
information submitted, the candidate is solely held responsible for
rejection of the application / admission.
n) After submitting online Application, the candidate shall take a print of
application form which is to be preserved for future reference.
o) The application / admission of the candidate will be summarily rejected
without further notice if he is ineligible on any reason as per the norms or if
he fails to submit the necessary documents at the time of admission.

7. Issue of Hall Tickets & Examination:

a) Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website
https://aprs.apcfss.in by clicking the link Hall Ticket download and by
entering their Candidate ID and Date of Birth.
b) Candidates shall download the Hall Tickets from the website only. No printed
Hall Ticket shall be issued/posted to the candidate.
c) No candidate shall be allowed to appear for the examination without Hall
Ticket.

d) The candidates have to attend APRDC CET-2026 on the date, time and venue
as specified on Hall Ticket.
e) The APRDC CET-2026 will be conducted with multiple choice questions, with
intermediate standard, for 150 marks with duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The Model Papers can be downloaded from the website.
f) The question papers will be provided in English & Telugu media. The course

g) The candidates shall have to bubble the OMR Sheet with blue / black ball
point pen and also have to follow the instructions issued. The actions made
against to the given instructions may lead to invalidation of OMR.
h) The Entrance Test will be conducted in 28 districts at district headquarters.
i) If the examination center in the concerned district does not have sufficient
number of candidates, they will be allotted to the examination center in the
adjoining district.

8. Guidelines for Counselling & Admissions:

a) Merely appearing in the Entrance Test is not eligible for admission.
Admissions will be made based on the Course wise merit in Common
Entrance Test, Reservation and Jurisdiction.
b) In case of tie among the candidates with same marks in the APRDC CET, the
order of the merit will be decided as follows:
i) Higher marks secured by the candidates through APRDC – CET in
History for B.A., Commerce- I for B.Com., Mathematics for B.Sc.
(Chemistry), Mathematics for B.Sc. (Compute Science) & B.Sc. (Data Science)
and Zoology for B.Sc. (Zoology) will be considered.

ii) If still the tie persists, the higher marks secured by the candidate in
Economics for B.A., Commerce-II for B.Com., Chemistry for B.Sc. (Chemistry)
and English for B.Sc. (Compute Science) & B.Sc. (Data Science) and Botany for
B.Sc. (Zoology) will be considered.

iii) If still the tie persists, it will be decided by taking advanced Age as per
the criteria.
iv) If still the tie persists, candidates belonging to the following communities
(in that order) shall be given a higher rank:

1) ST 6) BC-B
2) SC Group-I 7) BC-C
3) SC Group-II 8) BC-D
4) SC Group-III 9) BC-E
5) BC-A 10) OC

c) There is no provision for re-evaluation of the OMR or retotaling of marks,
since the result is processed through computer and sufficient care (double
scanning of OMRs) is taken to ensure accuracy through various checks while
processing the result
d) The candidates shortlisted for counselling for admission will be informed
through Website, SMS and Press Note to attend the Counselling on specified
dates and venue.

e) The counselling will be conducted duly calling at least 1:5 shortlisted
candidates for Andhra Region and for Rayalaseema Region separately.
f) Under PHC category, the candidates shall submit the certificate (SADAREM
CERTIFICATE) of 40 % of minimum disability issued by the District Medical
Board.
g) Under Sports category, the candidates shall submit District and above level
participation certificates issued by the competent Authority.
h) Under CAP (Children of Armed Personnel) category, the candidate shall
submit the certificate that the parent of the candidate must be an ex-service
person or presently in defense service issued by the District Sainik Board.
i) Under NCC category, the candidates shall submit “Senior Division-B”
certificate.
j) Under Orphan category, the candidate shall submit the certificate issued by
the concerned MRO that the candidate has no parents.
k) If no eligible candidates are available under special category, the seats may
be allotted to the OC category.
l) The candidates who got admission at counselling shall immediately join in the
concerned College duly following the norms prescribed.
m) The Selected candidate should be able to produce all necessary original
certificates at the time of counselling. If not so, the selection of the candidate
will be summarily rejected.
n) After completion of counselling in phased manner, if seats are still available,
the open admissions may be allowed at College Level duly calling the
remaining meritorious candidates in the Merit Lists on first come first serve
basis.

9. Fee / Charges to be paid at the time of Admission:

a) The college offers free education besides free boarding and lodging to all
the selected candidates.

b) However, Special Fee including Caution Deposit and Examination Fee have
to be paid as per the norms prescribed by Acharya Nagarjuna University,
A.P. The Special Fee including Caution Deposit.

c) Maintenance Charges Rs.1000/- for each Year, at the time of admission and
at the start of subsequent years.

d) Any fee once paid shall not be remitted back under any circumstances
including cancellation of admission.
