The Adventures of a Migratory Bird
As the sun began to set on the vast, open, plains, a small bird named Akira prepared for her long
journey. Every year, Akira migrated from her summer home in the north to her winter home in
the south. She flew over mountains, rivers, and forests, following the same route her ancestors
had taken for generations.
Akira’s feathers were a beautiful shade of brown, with a distinctive white stripe running along
her forehead. She had a small, black beak and bright, inquisitive eyes. As she flew, Akira felt the
wind rushing beneath her wings, lifting her up and carrying her forward.
