Internal Assessment (Periodic Assessment): 20 marks 1. Pen and Paper 5 Marks
Tests- class tests, periodic tests, and similar assessments that are
conducted in a written format.
2. Multiple Assessment - quizzes, debates, elocution, skits, dramas, oral 5 Marks

3. Portfolio - an assessment of the student's achievements in the subject, 5 Marks

4. Listening and Speaking Skills 5 Marks
a) Listening Skills (2.5 marks): This includes the ability to understand
conversations, debates, speeches, poetry recitation, stories, and other
related materials by listening to them.
b) Speaking Skills (2.5 marks): This includes the ability to deliver speeches,
poetry recitation, discussions, narrate a story or incident, read
dialogues, and other related activities.
