Farming is the practice of growing crops and raising animals for food and
other products. Farmers work on farms, which are large areas of land
used specifically for agriculture. Farmers also take care of crops as they
grow, watering them and protecting them from pests and diseases.
Different crops grow in different seasons, so farmers need to know when
to plant and harvest each type of crop. Some farms also produce milk,
eggs, meat and wool from these animals. Farming provides food for
people all over the world and is an important part of the economy in
many countries.
