Objectives

The broad objectives of teaching of Manipuri language at secondary stage are:

 To inhance the knowledge of Manipuri Language which is a lingua franca
among various commodities of Manipur.
 Manipuri has become one of the most choiced subject in the State Service
Commission Examination.
 The language has become more popular among the neighbouring states like
Assam, Tripura, Nagaland etc.
 The language is being taught from class I to Ph.D. stages.
