CLASS-XII 11. FRENCH Time: 3 Hrs Theory:80 Marks INA/Practical:20Marks Total: 100 Marks THEORY 1. Ten (10) multiple-choice questions on general topic (civilization, grammar, vocabulary...) on lesson 1 to 13 of the text book to be asked and answered in French. Students are required to attempt all 10 questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. 10 Marks 2. Ten (10) Brief questions pertaining on lesson 1 to 13 of the text books to be asked and answered in French. Students are required to attempt any 5 questions. Each question will carry 2 marks. 2 × 5 = 10 Marks 3. Making of sentences in French with idiomatic expressions occurring in the text, 15 questions will be asked. Students are required to attempt any 10 questions. Each question will carry 2 mark. 2 × 10 = 20 Marks 4. Questions on applied grammar based on the prescribed text (Refer of pages 252-253) of the prescribed text. 10 Marks 5. Translation from English, Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu to French of an unseen passage of 10 short sentences. 10 Marks 6. Translation from French into English, Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu of an unseen passage of 10 short sentences. 10 Marks 7.
