PART-A
1. It consists of 2 sections 1 & 2.
2. Section 1 has 16 questions of 1 mark each. Internal choice is there in 5 questions.
3. Section 2 has 4 questions on case study. Each case study has case based 5 sub-parts.
Examinee has to attempt any 4 sub-parts out of 5.
PART-B
1. Question nos. 21-26 are very short answer type questions of 2 marks each.
2. Question nos. 27-33 are short answer type questions of 3 marks each.
3. Question nos. 34-36 are long answer type questions of 5 marks each.
4. Internal choice is provided in 2 questions of 2 marks, 2 questions of 3 marks and 1
question of 5 marks.

Direction: (Q nos. 1-16) Section-1 has 16 questions of 1 mark each. Internal choice is provided in

sub-part carries 1 mark.

17. We have seen that the numbers 1,2,3,4……….etc are natural numbers. These natural
numbers along with the number zero form the collection of whole numbers. That is
numbers 0,1,2,3….. are called whole numbers. Thus 0 is the first and the smallest whole
number. There is no last or greatest whole number. All natural numbers are whole
numbers. All whole numbers are not natural numbers. For example, 0 is a whole number
but it is not a natural number

81 on Wednesday and a profit of Rs. 51 on Thursday. Find his net profit or loss in 4 days.

Subtract the sum of -1250 and 1138 from the sum of 1136 and -1272.
26. Sneha is asked to collect data for size of shoes of students in her class VI. Her findings are
recorded in the manner shown below : 4, 5,6,4,5,7,8,4,5,6,7,4,5,5,6,6,5.
Prepare a frequency distribution table using tally marks.

27. In one state, the number of bicycles sold in the year 2020-2021 was 743000. In the year
2021-2022, the number of bicycles sold was 800100. In which year were more bicycles sold
and how many more?
28. Determine the product of the greatest number of four digits and the greatest number of
three digits by using distributive property.

A taxi driver filled his car petrol tank with 50 litres of petrol on Monday. The next day, he
filled the tank with 40 litres of petrol. If the petrol costs Rs. 44 per litre, how much did he
spend in all on petrol?
29. In a morning walk, three persons step-off together. Their steps measure 80cm, 85cm and
90cm respectively. What is the minimum distance each should walk so that all can cover
the same distance in complete steps?

In a seminar, the number of participants in Hindi, English and mathematics are 60,84,108
respectively. Find the minimum number of rooms requited if in each room the same
numbers of participants are to be seated and all of them being in the same subject.

30. Determine the lowest natural number which when divided by 16, 28, 40, 77 leaves
remainder 8 in each case.

Determine the greatest three digit number exactly divisible by 8, 10, 12.
31. Draw a rough sketch of quadrilateral KLMN and state:
a) Two pairs of opposite angles.
b) Two pairs of adjacent sides.

34. (a) There was a stock of 17380245 quintals of wheat in a godown of the Food Corporation
Of India. Out of this stock, 2756744 quintals of wheat was sent to Haryana and 4863108
quintals to Punjab. How much is the balance stock now?
(b) A machine, on an average, manufactures 2825 screws a day. How many screws did it
produce in the month of January 2022 ?

(a) The distance between the school and the house of a student is 1Km 75m. Every day he
walks both ways. Find the total distance covered by him in six days.
(b) Ravi has Rs.78592 with him. He placed an order for purchasing 39 radio sets of Rs. 1234
each. How much money will remain after the purchase?
35. Draw rough diagrams of two angles such that they have
