Gurungs are compassionate people, who support each other, are sociable and often enjoy dancing.
Musical Instrument is played in celebrations of a community. And also more prevalent, the Tungna
folk instrument of the Gurung community is played during winter drives into the mountains and
high hills with falgi-prepared from makai/maize. They used to carry and eat falgi while herding
sheep in the Himalayas during winter. This falgi used to be their daily meal in the Himalayas. This
Tungna folk instrument of the Gurung community is made of Sheep andra/titay/ intestine after
being dried and made a string.
