Subject: Declaration of Final Result of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator
and Senior Hindi Translator Examination, 2022 – regarding.

Result of Paper-I of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator and Senior Hindi
Translator Examination, 2022 was declared on 03.11.2022. Thereafter, Paper-II of the
examination was conducted on 11.12.2022.

2. As per provisions of the Notice of the said Examination, Document Verification
(DV) would be done by the Indenting/User Departments. Accordingly, in accordance
with the Notice No. HQ-PPII010(4)/4/2022-PP_II [Com No-1137] dated 23.01.2023 and
03.02.2023 of the Commission, Option-cum-preference has been taken online from the
candidates, who had appeared in Paper II of the Examination. Only those candidates, who
submitted their option-cum-preference online, have been considered for final selection.

3. Allocation of Posts and Departments to the provisionally shortlisted candidates
has been made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and
the preference of Posts/ Departments submitted by them online.

4. Keeping in view the vacancy position, category-wise details of 441 candidates
provisionally qualified for appointment to various posts in different Ministry/
Departments/ Offices are as given below:

7. Resolution of Tie cases: In cases where more than one candidate has secured the
equal aggregate marks in Paper-I+ Paper-II, tie has been resolved by applying the
following methods one after another in the given order till the tie is resolved:

i) Total marks in Paper-II.
ii) Marks in Part (i) of Paper-I (i.e. General Hindi).
iii) Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.
iv) Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.

8. The final result of one candidate bearing Roll Number 1408000065 is kept in
sealed cover due to the court order.

9. If a candidate scoring more than cut-off marks in final result of the Examination is
not shortlisted due to any reason, he/she must represent to the concerned Regional/Sub-
Regional Office of the Commission within two months of the declaration of the final
result.

10. Post declaration of the final result of the Examination, further process of Document
Verification and appointment formalities will be undertaken by the Allocated Department
to the shortlisted candidates. If a candidate does not receive any correspondence from the
concerned allocated User Department within a period of one year from the declaration of
final result, he/she must communicate immediately thereafter with the concerned User
Department. Further, the Commission will not, in any circumstances, entertain any
correspondences regarding Document Verification/appointment formalities from the
shortlisted candidates.

11. Marks of the qualified/non-qualified candidates will be uploaded on the website of
the Commission on 17.02.2023. This facility will be available for a period from
17.02.2023 to 03.03.2023. Candidates may check their marks by logging in through their
registered ID and password.
