A robot is a special kind of machine which can move and follow instructions. These
instructions are sent from a computer for the robot to perform. The main advantage of
having a robot is that it doesn’t make any errors and it never gets tired. Robots do not
complaint unless they are asked to do so. Robots are used to ease off the effort put in
by humans. For example, robots can help us in making cars and some robots are used
to explore dangerous places where a human cannot intervene. They use robots to
explore volcanoes and even in the cleaning of the house. Homer a poet, over 2,000
years ago imagined a life with a robot which he imagined to be made of gold. The first
robot was created in the year 1961 which was called Unimate, used in the making of
cars with giant arms. These days, robots can understand words and help to be an
assistant. Robots can also help in fighting wars and to even discover things of a
different planet.
