Write a composition in Chinese of about 200 words on any one of the following [15]
topics:

(i) Translate the following passage into English. [10]

今天是十月十一号,星期四。上午我们有四节汉语课,两个老师教我们。
丁老师教我们语法,白老师教我们课文。汉语语法不太难。

下午我们有两节体育课,张老师教我们体育,今天他教我们足球。我常和
同学们一起踢足球。

星期六下午和星期日,我们没有课,我们休息。星期日我看电视,去商店或
者去公园。我们班的同学常去公园。

(ii) Translate the following passage into Chinese. [10]

After the exams, the school was on holiday. This holiday, I decided to go
home to have a look.

My family is in the countryside, and my father and mother are farmers. I have
a younger brother who is two years younger than me. After graduating from
middle school, he participated in agricultural labour in the village. I also have
a younger sister who is three years younger than my brother and is still in
school.

After entering the village, I found that many places have changed. Many
factories have been set up in the village. The income of farmers has increased
a lot compared to before, and their lives are getting better day by day.
