INFORMATION BULLETIN FOR APTET - JUNE - 2026

1. Issuing of Notification and Publishing of Information bulletin for APTET- JUNE –
2026 on 05.06.2026 candidates can apply for APTET- JUNE - 2026 ‘ONLINE’
only through APTET official website http://cse.ap.gov.in/ from 05.06.2026.
2. Steps to be followed in submission of application online:

i. The candidates shall first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ free of cost
from the APTET website http://cse.ap.gov.in/, go through it carefully and
satisfy their eligibility for appearing for APTET- JUNE - 2026.
ii. The candidate after satisfying himself/herself about the eligibility criteria
for APTET, shall pay a fee of Rs.1000/- for each subject through the
Payment Gateway from 05.06.2026 to 05.07.2026 and submission of the
application through online from 05.06.2026 to 05.07.2026. On receipt of
fee at APONLINE, e-Seva. The candidate shall be issued a ‘Journal
Number’ with which he/she can proceed with submission of application
online. Issue of a ‘Journal Number’ does not mean that the candidate has
completed submission of application online, it is only a confirmation of the
fee received.
iii. The candidates shall follow the procedure for submission of online
application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and instructions provided
online while filling up the online application form. The candidate should be
ready with photograph of size 3.5X3.5cms before filling in online
application.
a) Paste the photograph on a white paper and sign below (sign in Black Ink
only). Look for the sample at point 12(ii), of the Information Bulletin.
Ensure that the signature is within the box. Scan the required size
containing the photograph and signature. Please do not scan the
complete page. The entire image consisting of photo along with signature
is required to be scanned and stored in “jpeg” format on local machine.
Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the

size of the image is more than 50kb, then adjust the settings of the
scanner such as dpi resolutions, number of colours during the process of
scanning.
b) Applications with no photo / unclear photo / inadequate size photograph
will be rejected. Hall Ticket will not be issued to such candidates. Hence,
after pressing the ‘UPLOAD’ button check if the photo is of required size,
clear and is of the same candidate of whom the details are to be filled in
the application. If the photo is smaller in size, not clear or does not belong
to the candidate press ‘BACK’ button below the photograph on the
application form and restart with scanning of the photograph.
c) Complaints relating to mismatch of photograph and candidate details will
not be accepted after submission of application at any cost.

4. Eligibility:
The candidate at the time of applying for APTET-JUNE-2026 shall be having the
minimum qualifications prescribed for Paper – 1A for Classes I to V (Regular
Schools), Paper- 1B for Classes I to V (Special Schools). Paper-2A for classes
VI to VIII (Regular Schools) and Paper-2B for classes VI to VIII (Special Schools)
as given below.

5. Qualifications:

5.1. Minimum Qualifications for paper-1A as per NCTE Norms
(Classes I to V in Regular Schools) (Secondary Grade Teachers):
The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications after 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows:
i) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in
case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and two (2) year
Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
(or)

ii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in
case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and four (4) year
Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

(or)

iii) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks, in
case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks and two (2) year
Diploma in Education (Special Education)
(or)

The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications before 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows:

iv) Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks, in
case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates the minimum marks shall be 40% marks
and two (2) year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
in accordance with the Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and NCTE
(Recognition norms and procedure), 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from
time to time in this regard.

5.2 Minimum Qualifications for paper-1 B as per RCI Norms
(Classes I to V in Special Education):

i) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
and
Two (2) year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability.
(or)

ii) One (1) year Diploma in Special Education (DSE) in any of the category of
disability.
(or)

iii) Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with six (6) months
Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs(CwSN).
(or)

iv) Post Graduate Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (PGDCBR) with
six (6) months Certificate Course in Education of Children with Special Needs
(CwSN).
(Or)

v) Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with six (6) months Certificate
Course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
(Or)

vi) Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

(Or)

vii) Primary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment.
(Or)

viii) Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) /
Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-
MR) with Six (6) months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special
Needs(CwSN).
(Or)

ix) Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with six (6) months
Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
(Or)

x) Intermediate/ Senior Secondary passed with any RCI recognized qualification
of minimum one (1) year duration and six (6) months Certificate course in
Education of Children with Special Needs (CwSN).
(Or)

Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

Note: (For point i to x) In case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45%
marks in the basic required qualification.

5.3 Minimum Qualifications for TET Paper- 2A as per NCTE Norms (Classes
VI-VIII):
(Mathematics Teachers, Physical Science Teachers, Biological Science
Teachers & Social Studies Teachers)

The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications after 2011 for appearing TET is as follows:

i) Candidate must acquire at least 50% marks. In case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD
candidates must acquire 45% marks in Graduation from a University recognized
by UGC with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) recognized by NCTE.
(or)
ii) Four (4) year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) with at least 50%
marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks from a
recognised University.

(or)
iii) Four (4) year integrated B.A./B.Sc. or B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed. least 50% marks, in

case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks from a
recognised University.

(or)

iv) Graduation with at least 50% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates
must acquire 45% marks and one (1) year B.Ed (Special Education)
(or)
v) Post-Graduation with a minimum of 55% marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD
candidates must acquire 50% marks or equivalent grade and three (3) year
integrated B.Ed-M.Ed.

(or)
The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications before 2011 for appearing TET is as follows:

vi) Graduation from a recognised University with at least 45% marks, in case of
SC/ST/BC/Differently abled candidates the minimum marks shall be 40% and
One (1) year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition
norms and procedure Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and NCTE
regulations 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from time to time in this regard.
Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be
applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course
prior to the 29th July, 2011.

5.3.1 Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII):

The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications after 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows:

i) At least 50% marks in Graduation with Language concerned as one of the
Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or)
Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and
B.Ed./Language Pandit Training Certificate with Language concerned as one of
the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

Note: In case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45% marks in the
basic required qualification.

The minimum required pass percentage of marks in the prescribed
qualifications before 2011 for appearing APTET is as follows:

ii) Graduation / Post Graduation from a recognised University with at least 45%

marks, in case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates the minimum marks shall be 40%
and one (1) year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE
recognition norms and procedure Regulations 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and
NCTE regulations 2007 notified on 10-12-2007 issued from time to time in this
regard. Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be
applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the
Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent
course prior to the 29th July, 2011.

5.4 Minimum Qualifications for APTET Paper- 2B as per RCI Norms
(Classes VI-VIII in Special Schools):

At least 50% marks either in Graduation (or) in Post-Graduation
And
i) B.Ed.(Special Education)

(Or)

ii) B.Ed.(General) with one (1) year Diploma in Special Education.

(Or)

iii) B.Ed. (General) with two (2) years Diploma in Special Education.

(Or)

iv) B.Ed.(General) with Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special
Education (PGPD).

(Or)

v) B.Ed. Special Education and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in
Special Education (PGPC).

(Or)

vi) PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation).

(Or)

vii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical and
Neurological).

(Or)

viii) PG Diploma in Special Education (Loco motor Impairment and Cerebral
Palsy).

(Or)

ix) Secondary level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment.

(Or)

x) Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

(Or)

xi) BA.B.Ed. in Visual Impairment.

xii) Any other equivalent qualification approved by RCI.

Note:(Point i to xii) In case of SC/ST/BC/PwBD candidates must acquire 45%
marks in the basic required qualification.

5.5 Course completion certificates:

i) (a) Candidates must be qualified for the paper applied and in possession of
all certificates as on the last date prescribed in the notification for submission
of application.
(b) The candidates, those who are pursuing/studying final semester of
Diploma in Elementary Education (or) D.Ed in Special Education (or) its
equivalent, Bachelor of Education (or) B.Ed. in Special Education (or) its
equivalent etc., are also eligible to appear for APTET examination subject to
the condition that the candidates cannot appear for Teacher Recruitment Test
(TRT) with this APTET certificate, unless the candidates acquire requisite
qualifications.
Note: Mere qualification in APTET shall not confer any right to appear TRT
without prescribed qualifications.

ii) A Diploma/ Degree course in Teacher Education recognized by the National
Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) only shall be considered. However, in
case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special
Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
only shall be considered.

iii) Intermediate qualification of Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) of Andhra
Pradesh State (or) its equivalent as recognized by Board of Intermediate
Education (BIE), Andhra Pradesh State only shall be considered.
Graduation/Post Graduation of a University Recognized by UGC only shall be
considered.

6. Structure and Content of APTET -JUNE - 2026:
The structure and content of the APTET is as follows:
a) All questions shall be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one
mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer shall be correct. There
shall be no negative marking.

b) There shall be Two Papers for the APTET. Paper-1 shall be for a person who
intends to be a teacher for Classes I to V. Paper-2 shall be for a person who
intends to be a teacher for Classes VI to VIII. Those candidates who have
both D.El.Ed and B.Ed qualifications for Paper-1 and Paper-2 intends to be a
teacher either for Classes I to V (or) for Classes VI to VIII are eligible to
appear for both Papers (Paper-1 and Paper-2).

c) Paper-1 A: For Classes I to V (Regular Schools)

Note:-

I. The Test Items on Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP) shall focus on
Nature and Scope of Educational Psychology, Growth and Development of
child, Theories of Personality, Individual Differences, Learning,
Assessment statistical analysis, Mental Health, Guidance and Counselling
etc., relevant to the primary level. The syllabus designed for Child
Development and Pedagogy is based on D.El.Ed curriculum of the State of
Andhra Pradesh.

II. How to choose language–I of APTET Paper-1A & 1B: The following
languages are offered under First Language in the Schools under the State
Syllabus viz., Telugu, Urdu, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil and Odiya., A candidate
has to choose one of these six (6) languages under Language-I for APTET,
those candidates shall have compulsorily studied that language either as
medium of study or as First Language(or its equivalent) up to class X (or)
as Second Language in Intermediate or concerned language as a subject
at Graduation level and methodology in D.El.Ed is eligible for Paper-1A/1B
in concerned medium.
III. English is compulsory language for all candidates as Language-II.
IV. No candidate is allowed to opt English as optional Language as Language-I.
Note:

 A candidate who studied Class VI to X, in Telugu / English medium with
Telugu as first language and D.El.Ed in Telugu / English medium with
Telugu methodology is eligible for Paper-1A/1B Telugu. Hence the
candidate shall choose Telugu under Language-I of APTET Paper 1A
or 1B or both.

 A candidate who studied Class VI to X in Urdu/ Kannada/ Odiya/
Tamil/ English/Telugu medium with Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil as first

Language and D.El.Ed in Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil/English/Telugu
medium with Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil methodology is eligible for
Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil medium Teacher Post. Hence candidate
shall choose Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil language under Language-I
of APTET Paper 1A or 1B or both, then the total question paper shall
be in Urdu/Kannada/Odiya/Tamil followed by English.

 Candidate who studied Telugu/ English medium with Urdu as first
language from class VI to X, and studied D.El.Ed course in Telugu/
English medium with Telugu methodology shall choose only Telugu
Language under Language-I of APTET Paper 1A or 1B or both, then
the total question paper shall be Telugu followed by English. This
candidate is only eligible for Paper-1A/1B Telugu not for Paper-1A/1B
Urdu. The same is applicable for other minor languages also.

 A candidate who studied Urdu as second language in Intermediate
and D.El.Ed with Urdu methodology is eligible for Paper-1A/1B Urdu.
Hence the candidate shall choose Urdu under Language-I of APTET
Paper-1A or 1B or both. Then the total question papers shall be in
Urdu followed by English. The same is applicable for other minor
languages also.

V. The syllabus for Language-I and Language-II prepared in order to test the
Proficiency in the language, Elements of language, communication and
comprehension abilities for 30 MCQs under Language- I and Language- II.
24 MCQs on content and 6 MCQs on Pedagogy of that Language.
VI. The syllabus for Mathematics & Environmental Studies is designed on the
basis of topics of Classes III to VIII. The difficulty standard as well as
linkages of content/topics could be up to Secondary Stage (up to Class X)
for testing. The Test Items in Mathematics and Environmental Studies shall
contain 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each, both on Content and
Pedagogy. In Mathematics, 24 MCQs on Content and 6 MCQs on
Pedagogy. Similarly, in Environmental Studies 24 MCQs on Content and 6
MCQs on Pedagogy.
VII. The detailed syllabus for all subjects shall be designed by the SCERT

(State Academic Authority) and the same shall be issued along with the
Notification. Candidates are informed to follow Academic Year 2025 - 2026
State Syllabus Textbooks of Class III to X. The candidates have to follow
2014 to 2025 editions of D.Ed / D.El.Ed Telugu Academy textbooks and
2019 editions of SCERT D.El.Ed textbooks.
Note: Syllabus from Classes III to VIII and Standards Linkage upto class X
level. Questions shall be tested on Critical thinking, Creative thinking, and
Analytical thinking abilities of the candidates.

e) Paper-2A: For Classes VI to VIII (Regular Schools)

Note:-

i) The Test Items on Child Development and Pedagogy (CDP) focus on
Nature and scope of educational psychology, Growth and
Development of child, Theories of Personality, Individual Differences,
Learning, Assessment and its statistical analysis, Mental Health,
Guidance and Counselling etc., relevant to the Secondary level. The
syllabus designed for Child Development and Pedagogy is based on
B.Ed curriculum of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

ii) How to choose Language – I of APTET Paper- 2A and Paper-2B:

The following languages are offered under First Language in
Secondary Schools under the State Syllabus viz., Telugu, Urdu, Hindi,
Kannada, Tamil, Odiya and Sanskrit. Candidate has to choose one of
these seven (7) languages under Language-I (Optional) of APTET
Paper-2A or Paper-2B or both. Those candidates shall have
compulsorily studied that Language either as medium of study or First
Language (or its equivalent) up to class X (or) second language in
Intermediate or concerned language as a subject at Graduation level
are eligible for Paper-2A/2B in concerned medium.

iii) English is compulsory language for all candidates as Language-II.

iv) No candidate is allowed to opt English as optional Language as
Language -I.
v) The syllabus for Language I & II for Paper-2A and Paper-2B shall be
based on proficiency in the Language, Elements of Language,
Communication and Comprehension abilities. Standard of test items
are from VI to Senior Secondary Level (Intermediate) – XII Class level.

vi) 30 MCQs for Language -I and 30 MCQs for Language- II will be given
on content only.

vii) The syllabus for APTET of concerned Paper-2A and Paper-2B are
based on topics of Classes VI to X. The difficulty level and standard of
questions as well as their linkages could be up to Senior Secondary
(Intermediate) Level (XII class). Candidates shall follow Academic Year
2025-26 State Syllabus Textbooks of Class VI to X. The candidates
shall follow 2014 to 2025 editions of D.Ed / D.El.Ed / B.Ed Telugu
Academy Text books and 2019 editions of D.El.Ed - SCERT textbooks.

Note: Syllabus from Classes VI to X and standards linkage up to
Intermediate level. Questions shall be tested Conceptual
understanding, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, and Analytical
thinking abilities of the candidates.
g) Syllabus: Detailed syllabus for Paper-1A and Paper-1B, Paper-2A and Paper-2B
for each subject shall be notified on official website http://cse.ap.gov.in. The
syllabus mentioned in the official website is suggestive but not exhaustive .

1. Medium of Question Paper:
The Question Paper shall be bilingual (i.e.) English followed by the Language-I
chosen by the candidates.

Note-1: For the candidates choosing Sanskrit in Paper 2A, Child Development
and Pedagogy (CDP) is in Telugu followed by Sanskrit. Language-II in English
(compulsory). Language -I in Sanskrit and the remaining part of the question
paper shall be Telugu followed by English.

Note-2:The Question Paper is prepared in English and translated into other
Languages. In the event of any discrepancy, ambiguity, or variation in
interpretation of the concept the English version shall be treated as the
authentic and final version for the purpose of evaluation.

2. Pass Criteria of APTET-June-2026:
Results shall be declared as per the schedule notified. The criteria for considering

pass in APTET are as follows: (Total Marks-150)

Note:

i) Differently abled (Visually, Orthopedically, Hearing Impaired and Autism)
candidates with at least 40% of disability shall be considered as disabled
except Hearing Impairment. Hearing Impairment means (a) Deaf means
person having 70 DB hearing loss in speech frequencies in both ears (b) Hard
of Hearing means person having 60 DB to 70 DB hearing loss in speech
frequencies in both ears (GO.MS.No:36, Dept for Woman, Children,
Differently Abled & Senior citizens (Prog.ii) Dt: 23-08-2023.).
Note: The Medical certificate submitted by the candidate for appearing
APTET-JUNE-2026 Examination under that particular category will not confer
any right to the individual for accepting the same for further Recruitment Test.
The onus will lie upon the candidate to produce the certificate validated by the
Medical Board at the time of Recruitment.
ii) The Certificate shall contain the Name and Address of the Candidate,
Registration No., Year/ Month of Award of Certificate, Marks obtained in each
Paper, Class level of its validity (Class I to V (or) Class VI to VIII) and in case
of Classes VI to VIII the Subject Area (Languages/ Mathematics, Physical
Science, Biological Science/ Social Studies) etc., The Certificate may be
electronically generated with adequate security features to avoid any kind of
malpractice.
iii) The Joint Director, TET and Member Convener, Andhra Pradesh shall issue
Memo/ Pass Certificate in Digital Format to the candidates. Certificates shall
also be made available in Digi Locker after publishing of APTET results.

9. APTET-Applicability:

The APTET shall apply to all the schools referred to in Clause (n) of Section 2 of
the RTE Act. However, a school referred to in Sub-Clause (iv) of Clause(n) of
Section 2 of the RTE Act, may exercise the option of considering either the TET
conducted by the Central Government or the APTET. Teachers working in Private
Schools whose appointments were not approved by the competent authority are
not exempted from passing TET. Such teachers of Private Unaided Schools shall
appear for TET conducted by either the State Government or Central
Government. In respect of non-approved teachers working in Private Aided
Schools, they shall invariably appear for TET conducted by the State Government
only.

9.1: TET for in-service Teachers: As per the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme
Court of India in Civil Appeal No. 1385/2025, in-service teachers who were
recruited prior to the enactment of the RTE Act, and having more than five years
of service to retire on superannuation, as on 01.09.2025 i.e., the date of the
above orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No. 1385/2025, must
qualify the TET. The existing Secondary Grade Teachers (SGTs) and School
Assistants (SAs) who do not have a TET qualification may appear for Paper
1A/1B and 2A/2B, in their concerned subject. (Eligibility criteria for appearing
APTET as detailed at Rule-5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4, is exempted for all in-service
teachers serving in all Government and Private Aided Institutions).

9.2: TET for Languages and Social Studies candidates: Before 2017, there
was a common paper for SA (Languages) and SA (Social Studies). From the
2017 TET onwards, separate examinations have been conducted for Languages
and Social Studies subjects. Hence, candidates who qualified in the combined
TET previously may appear for separate paper and qualify in the concerned
paper only.

10. Weightage to TET scores for selection of Teacher Recruitment in Andhra
Pradesh:

A 20% Weightage to TET scores shall be provided in the Teacher Recruitment of
the State Government, balance 80% weightage shall be given for Written Test in

Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which selection lists shall be
prepared. However, qualifying in the TET only would not confer a right on any
person for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for
teacher appointment.

11. Certificate Validity Period/ Marks Memo:

The Marks Memo/Certificate of APTET shall be made available on APTET
website only. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and a person
can take attend any number of times for acquiring APTET Certificate. A
person who has qualified APTET may also appear again for improving his/her
score. The APTET certificate shall be valid for life time in accordance with
NCTE guidelines dated: 09.06.2021 as amended by the Government in
G.O.Ms.No.69, Dated: 25.10.2021. The validity of APTET qualifying certificate
acquired prior to 09.06.2021 shall also valid for life time as per G.O.Ms.No.69,
Dated: 25.10.2021.
Note: The APTET certificate shall remain valid for life time unless otherwise
modified by future NCTE guidelines.

12. Procedure for applying ONLINE:

The candidates shall at first download the ‘Information Bulletin’ (free of cost)
from the APTET website http://cse.ap.gov.in, go through it carefully and
satisfy their eligibility for appearing for APTET -JUNE -2026.
i) The candidate, after satisfying himself/herself about the eligibility criteria
for APTET, shall first register by furnishing the basic details. Upon
registration at APONLINE/e-Seva, the candidate shall be issued a
‘Journal Number’. Using this ‘Journal Number’, the candidate shall
submit the application online from 05.06.2026 to 05.07.2026. After
successful registration and submission of the application, the candidate
shall pay a fee of Rs.1000/- for each subject through the Payment
Gateway from 05.06.2026 to 05.07.2026. It is clarified that the issue of
a ‘Journal Number’ does not imply completion of the application
process; it merely acknowledges registration. Only those candidates
who have successfully paid the prescribed fee and finally submitted the

online application within the stipulated dates shall be considered as
having successfully applied for APTET.

ii) The candidates shall follow the procedure of submission of online
application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and also as per the
instructions provided online while filling up the online application form.
The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size 3.5X3.5cms
before filling in on-line application.’

iii) Paste the photograph on a white paper and sign below (sign in Black
Ink only). Observe the sample given above. Ensure that the signature is
within the box. Scan the required size containing the photograph and
signature. Please do not scan the complete page. The entire image
consisting of photo along with signature is required to be scanned and
stored in .jpeg format on local machine. Ensure that the size of the
scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the image is more
than 50kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as dpi
resolutions, number of colours during the process of scanning.
a) Applications with no photo/ unclear photo/ inadequate size
photograph will be rejected. Hall-Ticket will not be issued to such
candidates. Hence, after pressing the 'UPLOAD' button check if the
photo is of required size, clear and is of the same candidate of whom
the details are to be filled in the application. If the photo is smaller in
size, not clear or does not belong to the candidate press 'BACK'
button below the photograph on the application form and restart with
scanning of the photograph.
b) Complaints relating to mismatch of photograph and candidate details
will not be accepted after submission of application at any cost.
iv) Initial steps to be followed before filling Online Application Form.
a) Go to http://cse.ap.gov.in
b) Click on “Apply Online” / “Application Link”: On the
homepage you’ll find the link when the application window is
open.

c) Click on the new register dialogue box.
d) Provide basic details (i.e., Name, father/mother’s name, DOB,
Aadhaar number, email ID, mobile number, gender, category,
address etc.,).
e) At the field ‘Attach your latest photograph' Click on Browse button
and attach your photograph and your signature stored on the local
machine.
f) Press Upload and Tick the declaration and enter the verification
code.
g) Confirm the next dialogue box and create login credentials
(user-ID / password).
h) Enter your Journal Number and login to application form and fill
the educational qualifications.
i) After filling all the details press PREVIEW button. This will display
the details submitted by you.
j) Choose the paper(s) you’re applying for.
k) Fill the application form as per the instructions given in the User
Guide and Information Bulletin and those offered while filling the
Online Application Form.
l) If you find all the details correct press SUBMIT otherwise press
EDIT and resubmit the information.
m) Pay the required application fee (e.g., for each paper) and
complete the application.
n) On completion of submission, the candidates shall take a printout
of the application and store it for future use. Candidates should
not post the printout of the application to APTET office.
v) For domain related clarifications contact APTET office at
Director/Commissioner of School Education, Mangalagiri, Amaravati,
Andhra Pradesh.
vi) In any case applications will not be received in any kind of manual form.

13. Fee Particulars:

The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of
Computer Based TET examination is Rs.1000.00/-. for each Paper. If the
candidate desires to appear for all papers he/she has to pay an amount of
Rs.1000.00/ for each paper separately. Candidates shall pay the fee through
payment Gateway from 05.06.2026 to 05.07.2026 and submit online
application at the APTET website http://cse.ap.gov.in form 05.06.2026 to
05.07.2026

14. PROCESS FOR CONDUCT OF COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT):
In order to bring in utmost transparency and accuracy in the conduct of
examinations, it is decided to conduct APTET examination in Computer Based
Test (CBT) mode. The Computer Based Test involves registration of candidates
and application processing, identification of Test centres, Test centres
management, generation of hall tickets, awareness to the candidate about CBT
by means of conduct of mock tests. The examination management includes
digitalization and secured transfer of the question paper to the Test centres,
conduct of test, processing of scores and generation of score cards as per the
Government Orders.

(a) PROCESS INVOLVED IN COMPUTER BASED TEST (CBT):
i. The agency identified by the Commissioner / Director of School Education
shall design, develop and host the web based secured application form for
Department and accept applications.
ii. Integration with Payment Gateway for online fee payment.
iii. Test Centres should be identified by the agency and must meet rigorous
compliance requirements. The Test centres should also be completely
secured & sanitized to prevent any malpractices.
iv. Standard Test centres used for prestigious nationwide competitive exams
like IIT JEE Main, IIT GATE, IIM CAT, RRB, IBPS, etc., should be utilized
for APTET Examination.
v. The Computer Based Test shall be conducted in all the districts. A
candidate shall appear for the Written Test (Computer Based Test) in the
district in which he/she seeks (or) in adjacent districts within the State (or)
adjacent district of neighbouring States as far as possible.
vi. The Commissioner / Director of School Education shall issue detailed
instructions to ensure proper conduct of APTET.
vii. The candidates who are found copying or resorting to other means of
malpractice, shall be expelled from the examination hall apart from being
debarred from appearing for the examinations conducted by the
Department for three consecutive examinations, besides taking action as
per the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of Malpractices
and Unfair means) Act, 1997 (No. 25 of 1997).
viii. Disciplinary action shall be initiated against such staff who are found
negligent in the discharge of their duties and an entry shall be made
accordingly in the Service Register of the concerned staff, besides taking
action as per the Andhra Pradesh Public Examination (Prevention of
Malpractices and unfair means) Act, 1997 (No. 25 of1997).
ix. The Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be in English followed by the
medium opted by the candidate.
x. One Gazetted Officer of School Education Department (MEO/Gazetted
Head Master/Deputy DEO) may be drafted as Departmental Officer for the
Test centres to assist the Technical persons.

(b) CONSTITUTION OF EXAMINATION CENTRES FOR APTET:
i. The identification of examination centers and confirmation of examination
centers is the sole responsibility of the Agency which is entrusted to
conduct A.P. Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET-JUNE-2026) as Computer
Based Test.
ii. Each centre should be equipped with good accommodation, furniture and
computer infrastructure. Each entre shall have a capacity to accommodate
300-500 candidates in a single session.
iii. The centers in the District shall be identified preferably in District Head
Quarters, Municipalities, Revenue division and Mandals.
iv. Where required, based on number of applicants, particular category of post
and subject, centers may be identified in the adjacent district of
neighbouring States.
v. Institutions having spacious and sufficient number of rooms and computer
infrastructure are to be constituted as examination centers. Institutions
proposed to be constituted as examination centers shall be inspected by
District Educational Officer of the concerned District personally. The number
of rooms available in each center and number of candidates to be
accommodated in each room, shall be ascertained before allotting the
candidates to any of the examination Centers.

16. Hall Tickets:

Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the official website at
http://cse.ap.gov.in from 25.07.2026 onwards. In case of any candidate
could not download the Hall ticket he/ she should contact the Office of the
Director/Commissioner of School Education, Mangalagiri, Amaravati, Andhra
Pradesh between 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM on all working hours in person by
giving details of the Journal Number of the fee paid, reference number of the
application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one
photograph (same photograph as pasted on the application form). Request
for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained after the examination
in any case.

17. OBJECTIONS ON KEY:

i. The subject expert committee constituted by SCERT (The State Academic
Authority) is the final authority to redress the objections on the initial key.
ii. No objections shall be entertained on the final key.

19. Legal Jurisdiction:

All legal disputes with regard to the conduct of TET shall be subject to the
