Kalam narrates two incidents from his school days.A new teacher had joined Kalam's
school.When he saw Kalam wearing a Muslim cap,he asked him to go and sit on the back
bench.He separated Kalam and his friends on the basis of religion.Lakshmana Sastry told the
teacher that he should not spread the poison of social inequality and communal intolerance in
the minds of innocent children.
But Kalam's science teacher was against all social barriers.He wanted to break them.He invited
Kalam for a meal at his house.His wife was a conservative lady.She refused to serve Kalam in her
kitchen.The teacher didn't get angry.He served Kalam with his own hands.The next time Kalam
noticed a great change in the teacher's wife.She took Kalam inside her kitchen and served him
meal.
These two incidents show how differences can be created and how they can be resolved.By
following the way of Kalam's science teacher and Lakshmana Sastry,people can change their
attitude.

first.The guru told him that whoever died on the stake first, would be reborn as the king.The one who
died second, would be the future minister.The king did not want to lose his kingdom to someone else in
the next round of life.He and his minister decided to go on the stake themselves and be reborn as king
and minister.They got themselves executed.Thus the guru saved his disciple.
