statement by giving any four characteristics of business activities. [4]
27. Mehul sent an email to his friend Rahul who resides in US asking for financial help. Mehul
shared with him that due to a prolonged illness, his business suffered a lot. As a result, he was
not able to repay the bank loan which he had taken for the expansion of his business. He also
informed him that his warehouse has been confiscated by the bank authorities to settle his
claim. Mehul also reminded Rahul of his good times in business when he had helped Rahul
financially being the sole recipient of all the business profits.
In the context of the above case:

28. Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) is an Indian company. It is India's largest oil and gas

founded on 14th August 1956 by Government of India, which currently holds 68.94% equity
stake.

29. Bhavna has started a beauty saloon in a popular market in Kanpur. She has employed seven
people to ensure smooth running of her business. As a part of orientation training of her new
staff, she emphasizes on the following aspects:-
a. Each one of them is expected to work consciously on creating a desired service so that the
customer undergoes a favorable experience at the salon.
b. The various equipment and things are available in the salon, but the services have to be
performed as and when the customer asks for it.
c. The services have to be offered in accordance with the different demands and expectations
of different customers.

of delivery process.

in many countries of the world. Its headquarters is in Tokyo. To manage its branches and

They always make use of latest technology to remain leaders in electronics.

34. Sudeep is pursuing a graphic designing course at a technical institute in Pune. In one of the
classroom discussions on career options at the institute, he shares with his classmates that he is
a member of a business by birth. Although he is a member, he does not have the right to take
any decision regarding the business. His uncle takes all decisions related to the business.
In the context of the given case:-
