15 minute time has been allotted to read this question paper. The question
paper will be distributed at 10.15 a.m. From 10.15 a.m. to 10.30 a.m., the
students will read the question paper only and will not write any answer on
the answer-book during this period.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES
The examination is of 40 marks in total. There are four sections namely; Reading,
Writing, Grammar and Kanji. Each section has 10 marks each. Every section has
options for the candidates to choose according to their own choice.
In Section A, there are three parts, having 12 questions. Candidates are required to
answer only 9 questions.
In Section B, there are 5 questions and candidates are required to answer only
3 questions.
In Section C, there are 13 questions and candidates are required to answer only
10 questions.
In Section D, there are 12 questions and candidates are required to answer only
10 questions.
