Unitwise Distribution of Course Contentes : SITAR : THEORY : SECOND YEAR :

Unit : 1 : Knowledge of different Baaz or the playing style of Sitar.
Unit : 2 : Knowledge of the different Gharanas of Sitar players
Unit : 3 : Life sketch of the famous Sitar players of Assam and India.
Unit : 4 : Knowledge of the Technical Terminology by which a Sitar player can produce Gamak,
Meend. Knowledge of Som, Tali, Khali.

Unit : 4 : Ability to show the tali and khali of Trital, Ektal, Rupak Tala, Dadra Tala, Jhaptala.
Unit : 5 : Playing ability in Sitar of the Suddha, Tivra, Komal Swara in Mandra – Madhya – and Tar
Saptak.
