General Instructions :
Read the following instructions very carefully and strictly follow them :
(i) This question paper contains Five sections Applied Grammar, Reading
Comprehension, Composition and Writing, Questions based on the prescribed
Text-book and Translation.
(ii) Section A (Applied Grammar) has three questions (1 3). Attempt 5 out of
6 questions from each one of them.
(iii) Section B (Reading Comprehension) has 6 questions on the given text. Answer
any 5 out of them.
(iv) Section C (Composition and Writing) has three essays. Write on any one of
them.
(v) Section D (Questions based on the prescribed Text-book) has 6 questions on the
text-book. Answer any 5 out of these question.
(vi) Section E (Translation) has six sentences out of which 5 are to to be translated
into Russian.
