36. On a hot summer day, a thirsty lion walked down to a

pool to drink water. At the same time, a boar arrived at

the same pool to quench his thirst. They quarrelled as to

‘‘Get out of my way, let me drink first !’’ growled the lion.

‘‘No, you won’t ! I came here first, so I’ll drink first,’’

replied the boar. Soon, they started to attack each other.
