Ergonomics is the study of humans of at work with the
primary goal being adapt the work environment to the
worker .The objective is to generate working conditions
that are not hazardous to human health, to prevent soft
tissue injuries and musculoskeletal disorders (MSD)
caused by sudden or sustained exposure to force, 1
vibration, repetitive motion and awkward posture. The
need for ergonomics is to improve job effectiveness by
increasing productivity, reducing errors, and increasing job
satisfaction through comfortable conditions. Ergonomics is
“Adjustment of human and machine “. Tools, machines
and workstation are designed to fit the work to reduce the
stress and health problems .The science of Ergonomics is
set on the four pillars namely anthropometry( body size 1
and measurements),biomechanics(musculoskeletal
activities and forces exerted),physiology and industrial
