1. Read the paragraph below carefully and answer the multiple-choice questions (5x1=5)

Down in the deep blue sea lived a playful dolphin named Finn. One sunny morning,
as Finn was practicing his amazing jumps, he heard a small cry for help. He swam
closer to a rocky area and saw a little turtle tangled in an old fishing net. The turtle,
whose name was Tilly, was very scared and couldn't move her flippers.
"Don't worry, I'll help you!" Finn said kindly. He gently used his nose to push and
loosen the net. It took some time and patience, but soon Tilly was free. "Oh, thank
you, thank you!" she exclaimed, happily wiggling her flippers.
From that day on, Finn and Tilly became the best of friends. Finn learned that help-
ing others not only made them happy but also brought him great joy.

hints if needed.)
(Hints: Use lots of describing words for colours, tastes, and smells. Be imaginative
with the name and the magical power. For example, does it make you jump as high

A Door to Another World
You find a small, colourful door at the bottom of a tree in your school play-
ground. You open it and crawl through. Where does the door lead? Describe
the new world you see in five sentences by using following hints if needed. What
is strange or wonderful about the trees, the sky, the ground, and any creatures
you meet?
(Hints: Think about all the five senses. What do you see, hear, smell, and feel in
