सामा य नदश:

1. संपूण पा य म के आधार पर एक वा षक पर ा होगी।

2. वा षक पर ा 20 अंक क होगी, ायो गक पर ा 60 अंक क होगी और

आंत रक मू यांकन 20 अंक का होगा।

3. वा षक पर ा 20 अंको के लए न न कार से न पूछे जायगे -

I).व तु न ठ कार के न म ( ½ - ½) अंक के 10 न पूछे जायगे।

II). अ त लघुउ रा मक कार के न म ( ½ - ½) अंक के 08 न पूछे जायगे।

5. आंत रक मू यांकन के लए:

न नानुसार आव धक मू यांकन होगा:

i) 4 अंक के लए- दो SAT पर ा आयोिजत क जाएगी िजनका अं तम
आंत रक मू यांकन के लए 04 अंक का भारांक होगा।
ii) 2 अंक के लए- एक अध-वा षक पर ा आयोिजत क जाएगी िजसका
अं तम आंत रक मू यांकन के लए 02 अंक का भारांक होगा।
iii) 2 अक के लए ी-बोड पर ा आयोिजत क जाएगी िजसका अं तम आंत रक
मू यांकन के लए 02 अक का भारांक होगा।
iv) 2 अंक के लए- वषय श क CRP (क ा क क भागीदार ) के लए
मू यांकन करगे और अ धक म 02 अंक दगे.
v) 5 अंक के लए- छा वारा एक प रयोजना काय कया जाएगा िजसका
अं तम आंत रक मू यांकन के लए 05 अंक का भारांक होगा।
vi) 5 अंक के लए- व यथ क उपि थ त के न नानुसार 05 अंक दान
कए जाएग:

75% से ऊपर 80% तक - 01 अंक
80% से ऊपर 85% तक - 02 अंक
85% से ऊपर 90% तक - 03 अंक
90% से ऊपर 95% तक - 04 अंक
95% से ऊपर - 05 अंक

संगीत कसे कहते है । मह वपूण अंग संचालन (ने संचालन ,पद संचालन, ीवा
संचालन, अंग, यंग, उपांग)।

अ याय 2: आधु नक न ृ य प रचय उदय एवं वकास

आधु नक न ृ य का प रचय द िजए आधु नक न ृ य का उदय कब हुआ आधु नक
न ृ य के वकास मे उदयशंकर गोपीनाथ रवी नाथ टै गोर का योगदान।

अ याय 3: रस एवं भाव , तांडव और ला य

रस क प रभाषा। ना यशा एवं अ भनय दपण के अनुसार रस के कार एवं
उनक या या। तांडव और ला य क प रभाषा, तांडव के कार।

अ याय 4: शा ीय न ृ य क शै लयाँ भरतना यम, कथकल

शा ीय न ृ य कसी कहते है । भरतना यम का सं त ववरण द िजए भरतना यम
को करने का म वेशभूषा एवं वा ययं । कथकल का सं त प रचय,
वेशभूषा एवं वा ययं ।

अ याय 5: कथक का इ तहास एवं घराने

ाचीनकाल, म यकाल, आधु नककाल म कथक। कथक के घराने, वेशभष
ू ा,
वा ययं , तुत करने का म। पं डत बरजू महाराज एवं पं डत सुंदरलाल का
जीवन प रचय।

अ याय 6: गु श य परं परा, मह वपूण प रभा षक श द

गु श य परं परा का मह व एवं इससे जुड़ी मह वपूण कहा नयॉ। पा रभा षक
श द आमद, तोड़ा, टुकड़ा, तहाई, परन, परमेलू, गतभाव ,गत नकास, वंदना।

Syllabus and Chapter wise division of Marks (2023-24)
Class- 10th Subject: Dance Code:121
General Instructions:
1. There will be an Annual Examination based on the entire syllabus.
2. The Annual Examination will be of 20 marks, Practical Examination will be
of 60 marks and 20 marks weightage shall be for Internal Assessment.
3. The following types of questions will be asked for the annual examination for
20 marks -
i). In objective type questions, 10 questions of (½ - ½) mark
each will be asked.
ii). In very short answer type questions, 08 questions of (½-½) mark each
will be asked.
iii). In short answer type questions, 03 questions of 02 marks each will be
asked. Internal choice will be given in any one question.
iv). In long answer type questions, 02 questions (2½ + 2½ ) of marks in 5
marks will be asked. An internal choice of one question will be given.

4. For Practical Examination:

i) Tatkaar and Layakaries 18-18 marks each.
ii) Padhant of 9 marks.
iii) Practical record of 5 marks.
iv) Viva-voce of 10 marks.

5. For Internal Assessment:

There will be Periodic Assessment that would include:

i) For 4 marks- Two SAT exams will be conducted and will have a weightage
of 04 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
ii) For 2 marks- One half yearly exam will be conducted and will have a
weightage of 02 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
iii) For 2 marks - Pre-board examination will be conducted which will have a
weightage of 02 marks for final internal assessment.
iv) For 2 marks- Subject teacher will assess and give maximum 02 marks for
CRP (Class room participation).
v) For 5 marks- A project work to be done by students and will have a
weightage of 05 marks towards the final Internal Assessment.
vi) For 5 marks- Attendance of student will be awarded 05 marks as:
75% to 80% - 01 marks
Above 80% to 85% - 02 marks
Above 85% to 90% - 03 marks
Above 90% to 95% - 04 marks
Above 95% to 100% - 05 mark

Chapter 1: Movement of body according to music
What is music? Important Body movement (Netra sanchalan ,Pada
sanchalan, Griva sanchalan, Ang, Pratyang, Upang)।

Chapter 2: Modern dance: Introduction,Rise and Development
Introduce modern dance. When did modern dance rise.
Udayshankar, Gopinath, Rabindranath Tagore's contribution to the
development of modern dance?
Chapter 3: Rasa and Bhaav. Tandav and Lasya
Definition of Rasa and Bhaav. Types of Rasa and their interpretation
according to Natyashastra and Abhinayadarpans. Definition of Tandav
and Lasya, Types of Tandav.
Chapter 4: Classical dance form: Bharatnatyam, kathkali
What is Classical dance. Give a brief description of Bharatanatyam,
sequence, costumes and instruments used.A brief introduction to
Kathkali, costumes and instruments.
Chapter 5: History of kathak and their gharanas
Kathak In ancient, medieval, modern times. Kathak gharanas,
costumes, instruments, sequance of presentation. Biography of
Pandit Birju Maharaj and Pandit Sunderlal ji.
Chapter 6: Guru shishya parampara, Important definition
The importance of guru shishya parampara and important stories
related to it. The term is aamad, toda, tukda, tihai, paran, parmelu,
gatbhav, gatnikasa, vandana.
Chapter 7: Notation in Teentaal
Notation of kavit, Tihai, Toda, Tukra, Paran in Teentaal

1. Practice of exercise of different parts of the human body par cularly Anga,
Pratyanga, Upanga.
