As I lie on my back,
Looking up at the sky.
I see a big white bear,
Looking down at me.

As I lie on my back,
Looking up at the sky.
I see a ship sailing,
On a white sea.

As I lie on my back,
Looking up at the sky.
I see an elephant,
Waving its trunk at me.

As I lie on my back,
Looking up at the sky.
Oh! Itʼs fun, itʼs fun to me,
To see whatever I want to see.

Say the poem aloud, with joy.
The child sees a bear, a ship and an elephant in the clouds.
Say “Oh! Itʼs funˮ in a happy voice.

A.1 Sit outside your home, or in an open space and watch the clouds go by. Next day, tell
the class what you saw.

Watch the clouds. Look at their colour and shape.

Sample answer: I saw big white clouds. One cloud looked like a dog.

Tip: Never look at the sun. It hurts your eyes.
